New Podcast Episode: Coming Out Later in Life
My sexuality journey
I am so excited to share that Sober Yoga Girl Podcast has made a comeback after a hiatus!
After 275 episodes and several years of consistent podcasting, I stepped away from the podcasting world, and a lot of the online world.
But…
It’s making a comeback!
I recorded three interviews this week. I also was a guest on another show. During that time, my transition to being a later-in-life lesbian came up a few times, and I felt like it needed it’s own podcast episode. So tonight, I recorded an impromptu episode which I am excited to share with you.
In this episode, I’m sharing the story of coming out later in life, and how it wasn’t one single moment, but the culmination of years of healing.
I talk about how sobriety taught me to stop numbing, how yoga philosophy, mantra, kirtan, Vipassana, and nervous system healing helped me reconnect with my heart, and how trauma, including my sexual assault, became part of a much larger journey toward living authentically.
I also share what it was really like to come out publicly, why the experience reminded me so much of getting sober, navigating my first relationship with a woman, dating as a lesbian in Bali, and what life looks like now on the other side of finally telling the truth.
Whether you’re questioning your sexuality, navigating a major life transition, or simply feeling the call to live more honestly, I hope this conversation reminds you that it’s never too late to become who you’ve always bee!
Thank you for being here, and for allowing me to share this chapter of my story with you.
Please share this episode with anyone you think might benefit, and subscribe to hear the rest of the upcoming interviews over the next few weeks!
