Hi Friends!
It has been ages since I have written here on Substack, or posted a podcast episode. Things have been a bit busy lately - between graduating another yoga teacher training group in September here in Bali, being in a new relationship, travelling to Brisbane to visit my partner, coming back and teaching for the Sobriety Sisterhood retreat…and trying to just process all the exciting, but big… transitions and changes… I have found it slightly challenging to keep on top of things, to create, and to share.
But - I finally feel a burst of motivation and organization today! And I am riding these waves with a few announcements…
Sober is the New Epic Speaker Series
First of all: the Sobriety is the New Epic Speaker Series started this week! I am so very excited to have been featured amongst many sober speakers about “What’s Next” in sobriety.
I started listening to some of the interviews last night and they are amazing!
You can register for the speaker series for FREE using this link.
New Sober Yoga Girl Podcast Episode
I also was lucky to have Sarah Treacy, the creator of the series, on my podcast, Sober Yoga Girl, in a new episode released today!
Beyond Quitting Drinking: Finding Adventure with Sarah Treacy
What if life without alcohol could be bigger, more connected, and more adventurous than you imagined?
Meet Sarah Treacy, known as The Sober Sherpa and founder of The Sober Adventure Collective. After getting sober in 2020, Sarah discovered how nature, movement, and community could help her build a fulfilling alcohol-free life. Her journey eventually led her to leave a 20-year corporate career and help others find their own sense of possibility in recovery.
From daily walks to climbing Kilimanjaro, Sarah’s story offers a fresh perspective on sobriety, rediscovering joy, and finding the courage to ask: what’s next?
India Events 2027
In the meantime, I have launched two India Retreats in 2027. The first one, a Bhakti retreat, sold out within six days, so I launched a second one! It is different - so if you are already joining us for the Bhakti Retreat you can stay on for the Meditation and Philosophy Immersion - or you can just come for the Immersion! Here’s the info…

Imagine giving yourself time in India to practice yoga, explore philosophy and develop your meditation practice 🇮🇳❤️
And in the evenings? Walking to the kirtan festival for chanting, music and community.
Join our India Philosophy & Meditation Immersion in Rishikesh, 2027.
A 40-hour CEC in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and meditation, with daily yoga and a small group of women to share the experience with.
This is for you if you’ve been wanting to:
🧘♀️ Start meditating or return to a practice you’ve lost touch with
📚 Understand yoga philosophy and how it relates to your everyday life
✨ Explore the Yoga Sutras as a beginner or revisit them in more depth
🎶 Experience the kirtan festival with women to go alongside
🇮🇳 Travel to India with a group to learn and practice with
You don’t need to arrive with a consistent meditation practice or any knowledge of the Sutras. Bring your curiosity and your questions.
You can join this immersion on its own, or extend your stay if you’re already coming to my Bhakti and kirtan retreat the week before!
