#140 Free Zoom Meditations Next week with me! Inspired by the Yoga Sutras 1.34 - 1.38
I am working on a few big projects related to Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, which I have been studying and teaching in depth for the last three years.
1. On Demand Course!
Firstly, I’m working on creating the finalized recordings of my 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course, which you can find out about here. After teaching about 15 groups live of the sutra study, I am ready to change the model. Starting in 2026, whilst I will still be hosting live meetings for the students to meditate & ask questions and get answers, I won’t be teaching all the content live anymore (or at least will be taking a break - maybe will come back in the future!) So if you got in before that shift happened - you are lucky! :) Making sure all the presentations are up to date, and organizing them, is what is consuming a lot of my time. But it feels exciting, for this time around, to feel like I am, in many ways, mastering the content.
2. Writing My Next Book
As I have been working on the course over the last few years, I have also been working on writing my next books. All the students who have been enrolled in the course have had live access to the draft - it’s about more than 300 pages long! And right now I’m working on gathering, synthesizing, and solidifying all the different research, information, and stories I have gathered over the last few years into the Chapter 1 book.
Which leads me to the next thing…
Next week I’m offering Five Free Meditations Inspired by the Yoga Sutras on Zoom, every day from Monday to Friday at 8pm Bali time - 8am EST!
In chapter one of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, Patanjali offers a selection of techniques for beginning concentration practices, from Sutras 1.33 - 1.38. He offers six techniques. I am going to teach a meditation inspired by each of these live on Zoom next week to accompany both my online course and the book I am writing. (This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time but just never got around to it - I am finally doing it!)
You can book all the meditations here.
Monday August 25 - Friday August 29
8am EST - 1pm BST - 4pm GST - 8pm AWST.
See you there!
