#112 Where Are They Now? Celebrating My Incredible YTT Grads
How Our Global Alumni Are Sharing Yoga & Sobriety in Beautiful, Bold Ways
One of the greatest joys in my work is witnessing the growth and evolution of the students who pass through our Yoga Teacher Trainings. Every cohort brings together a special kind of magic - people from different walks of life, united by a calling to practice yoga, live mindfully, and serve others.
Our YTTs are not just about learning how to cue a Warrior II. They’re about stepping into your power. About integrating the ancient philosophy of yoga into modern life. About learning how to teach with confidence and clarity, and guide others from a place of lived experience and authenticity.
In our 200 Hour training, students build a foundation in vinyasa, yin, and yoga philosophy - including the Yamas, Niyamas, Chakras, and Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. They also begin teaching from day one. By the time they graduate, they’ve led multiple classes, received feedback, and developed their own unique voice.
In our 300 Hour advanced training, we go deeper — into Bhakti and chanting, into trauma-informed teaching, into adjustments and assists, pranayama, meditation, mental health, entrepreneurship, and of course — more philosophy. It’s a transformational journey that strengthens not only your skills as a teacher but your inner world as a human.
And nothing makes me prouder than seeing what our grads go on to create. They are leading retreats, hosting workshops, teaching classes, and changing lives — all around the world.
Let me introduce you to just a few of these incredible women:
🦁 Carolyn Millward (UAE / South Africa)
Carolyn has been on a full journey with us — graduating from both the 200 Hour YTT (2022) and the 300 Hour YTT (2025), and now continuing her studies in our advanced Yoga Sutra Study group. This summer, she’s leading a Yoga Safari in South Africa (yes, yoga + animals = dream combo!).

🌴 Carolyn Clark (UK)
Carolyn graduated from the 200 Hour YTT in July 2024, and will complete her 300 Hour YTT this September. She’s done much of the advanced training online and will be joining us in Bali for the final in-person module this fall. Right after the in-person module, she will be leading her third Bali Retreat, which I am so excited to be teaching the yoga on!

🌺 Rachel Brady (UK)
Rachel has completed just about every training we offer — seriously. She’s been a true pillar of our community since day one, and she’s now sharing her light with others through her Embodied Women’s Retreat this November in Cornwall, UK. It's a luxury sober yoga week you won't want to miss.

⛰️ Samantha Dunman (USA)
Samantha joined our Sober Curious YTT back in 2022, and it’s been incredible to watch her flourish. She’s now leading retreats around the world — and her next one is a dreamy New Year’s Eve Retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia.

🌸 Dupe (UK)
Dupe wasn’t a YTT grad - but she was a guest on The Sober Yoga Girl Podcast a few years ago and her evolution has been awe-inspiring. She is now running The Finding Freedom Retreat in Bali this June — an empowering alcohol-free journey of connection, growth, and inner liberation. There are still spaces available!

If you are interested in any of the above retreats, please reach out to the women directly who have organized them (and please let them know that you heard about the retreat via me!)
These women are living proof that yoga is more than a practice - it’s a path. And when we walk it with commitment, courage, and community, it can lead us to places we never dreamed possible.
To all of my graduates - whether you’re leading retreats, teaching in studios, sharing yoga with your friends and family, or deepening your personal practice quietly, I am so proud of you. Thank you for choosing this path, and for letting me be a part of your journey. I would love for you to comment on this post and let me know what you’re up to now and how our community can support you!
With so much love and admiration,
Alexandra
